Terms and Conditions

1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions (T&C) apply to all orders placed via the online shop of Sommer Seifen, Maihölzli 6, 6331 Hünenberg, Switzerland.
Any terms and conditions provided by customers are not accepted unless explicitly approved in writing bySommer Seifen.
2. Offer and Contract Formation
2.1. Product listings in the online shop are not binding offers but serve as a non-binding online catalogue.
2.2. By clicking “Place Order” or “Buy Now”, customers submit a binding order for the products in the shopping cart.
2.3. The contract is formed once we confirm the order or dispatch the products.
3. Products & Ingredients
3.1. We sell natural skincare and haircare products in accordance with Swiss law, including the Swiss Ordinance on Foodstuffs and Utility Articles (LGV) and the Cosmetics Ordinance (VKos).
3.2. Product descriptions, ingredient lists (INCI), and usage instructions are updated regularly but may change without notice.
3.3. Individual skin reactions cannot be excluded. Customers are responsible for checking ingredients and performing patch tests before use.
4. Prices and Shipping Costs
4.1. All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable VAT.
4.2. Shipping costs are added separately and displayed during checkout.
4.3. Prices, promotions, and discounts may change at any time without prior notice.
5. Delivery
5.1. Deliveries are made within Switzerland and – if offered – to selected international destinations.
5.2. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
5.3. If an item is unavailable, we will refund the purchase price or offer an alternative.
6. Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard )
- TWINT
- Invoice/Buy-now-pay-later
The contract becomes effective only after successful payment unless otherwise agreed.
7. Right of Withdrawal & Returns
7.1. For hygienic reasons, opened or used cosmetic products cannot be returned.
7.2. Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of receipt.
7.3. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is defective or wrongly delivered.
7.4. Refunds are processed within 14 days after the returned items are received and inspected.
8. Warranty & Defects
8.1. Customers must inspect delivered products immediately and report defects within 5 days of receipt.
8.2. For valid defects, we offer either a replacement or a refund.
8.3. Further liability, especially for indirect or consequential damages, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Health & Safety Disclaimer
9.1. Our products are not medical treatments and do not replace professional medical advice.
9.2. Customers with allergies or skin conditions must conduct a patch test or consult a healthcare professional before using the products.
10. Data Protection
10.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG).
10.2. Customer data is treated confidentially and shared only as necessary for order fulfillment or to comply with legal obligations.

11. Intellectual Property
All content, images, texts, and designs on the website are protected by copyright. Any use without written permission is prohibited.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction is HĂĽnenberg, ZG, Switzerland, unless mandatory legal provisions dictate otherwise.
13. Final Provisions
If any provision of these T&C is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
